Dear friends &
families,
Greetings to everyone!
May every joy of the Christmas season be with you.
We've had quite an
eventful year. With God's grace, Johnny finished the 3rd semester of
his 4-yr program in seminary. During the past year, he helped
with organizing a Chinese Student fellowship. He treasures the
friendship and support from other students who share the same path and
vision in ministries.
Besides school work and
church involvement, Johnny teaches English at a Christian community
center. There he befriends his students and helps out with their
computer problems. Johnny always has a burden with outreach and
personal evangelism. A family of one of his students are going to
church with us every Sunday and we are glad to see them willing to
know more about God. We are grateful to see God's work
among his students.
As for Nina, she has
been a teaching assistant in the 4 to 5 year-old Sunday
school class since December. She enjoys it immensely. It's been
both a humbling and rewarding experience for her. She looks
forward to taking on more responsibilities and becoming one
of the main teachers next year.
Besides children
ministry, Nina still teaches English at a retirement community. (
To her amusement, children and elderly aren't that different in
many ways )Her background in pharmacy really comes in handy when
she works with both of these age groups.
As year 2004 is just
around the corner, we would like to wish you and your family a happy
new year.
