Mau
Kwan Tangis thankful
for the whole day -- lunch fellowship with a brother who loves
the lost as Jesus did, afternoon fellowship with a brother who
was lost but found, evening community service to the battered
women/children & the joy of watching a new biblical Jesus
film while working out.
Mau
Kwan Tangexperienced a
new level of the joy of worshiping God while preparing for this
Sunday's sermon. The key to the joy is: continual prayer in
order to be in God's presence which would melt away the
self-consciousness/self-centeredness and let the person who
delivers God's Word to be God's Word. In Chinese --
人神劍(道)合一的無我唯道的境界。

WhirleyThank you,
Pastor Johnny, for posting your ordination videos...I was sad
that we were unable to be in state to share in this very special

called your friend and co-laborer in Christ. May God continue to
bless you and Nina and give you the desires of your hearts.

touched and encouraged by a brother's act of

hours to repair his car's flat tire. As a pastor

Kwan Tangenjoyed a 7-hour conversation

brother through him and helping the brother to make a difficult decision by
obeying God instead of following his emotions.
it's so nice to know that there are so many people in this world
loves to praise and worship GOD and especially accept him as
their lord and savior.......
thank you for all the wonderful thoughts you have given us from

Kwan TangHow can we as

My student is right. Trusting God is more important than getting
the gold metal in a tournament.
If you trust God, rely on HIS power through continual prayer and
daily reading and meditation of HIS Word and give your best for
God in everything you do, you get gold in God's eyes.
On the other hand, some people are more gifted in certain areas
than others and they get gold in this world without giving their
best for God. In God's eyes, that person has not gotten gold....

Mau
Kwan Tang's flight to Baton

Hey John, glad you got there safe. Baby Orel was caling for you
last night before he went to sleep. Well, I guess he misses his
uncle Johnny. Give our regards to Nina. God bless
I'll miss Baby Orel too. By the way, what does Kuya mean? My
self-defense students addressed me as Kuya Johnny. Does that
mean teacher or sir or pastor? I expressed your regards to Nina.
On the plane, I was thinking about what we can do next year. One
idea is that I'll train my Taekwondo students in evangelism
during their summer vacation ...
See
Moreand then
I'll team up with them to teach self-defense to people in your
church community or students of Abellana National School. For
future self-defense students to learn some more complicated
skills, I need more assistant teachers to hold the students'
hands. I can also get them involved in sharing the Gospel. This
would help the Taekwondo students grow spiritually and enjoy
working together for a good cause.
Mau
Kwan Tanghad a touching time
farewelling his Taekwondo students. He took some fun pictures with them
and recorded their presentation. He will miss them and will pray for them.
He is now waiting to board the plane to Hong Kong. Please pray for a safe
flight.
Mau
Kwan Tanghas finished packing,
spent some quality time reading God's Word and giving thanks to God and
praying for his students. In 3 hours, he would meet his Taekwondo students
who would give him a special farewell presentation before he leaves Cebu

back next year.
You are welcome Tyrus. It's been a joy. Pray that God would

your friends' life in Cebu. I will miss all of you and will be

Kwan Tanghad another
action-packed day teaching 2 self-defense classes and 1 2-hour Taekwondo
class. He sweated a lot teaching outdoor or indoor without AC on a hot

Mau

Kwan Tangshared God's Word with
2 self-defenses classes in the morning, taught brother Irvin and Pastor

God’s...
Spirit moving in her heart when the Gospel was shared. All praise be to
God!
Mau

teaching Sunday School, preaching God's Word, training evangelists and
