Dear friends and
relatives,
Greetings from The Tangs! May the love and peace of our Lord be
with you and your family always during this holiday season.
As
2005 comes to a close, we look back at the year with great joy
and thanksgiving. Johnny spent last summer interning at
our home church in the Bay Area. He was privileged to serve
alongside those who had once ministered to him at his spiritual
home. He is grateful for his current involvement in men's
ministry at DCBC and the Cantonese Singles fellowship along
with Nina. Besides taking Taekwondo classes himself, Johnny (now a
blue-belt holder!) enjoys teaching others martial arts and sees it as
a good opportunity for both in-reach and outreach.
Nina is
still working part-time as a hospital pharmacist. Since the
second half of 2005, she has slowed down considerably due to
multiple but minor medical issues. She is taking a break from
many things she was doing in the past as she focuses on nursing
herself back to health. On a brighter note, Nina's interest in music
continues to florish. Upon completion of her guitar classes at
a community college in spring, she resumed taking piano lessons
after a 20 years hiatus.
As
Johnny's May graduation draws near, we are seeking clarity and direction
from our Lord for future ministry. We are thankful for all of your
prayers and support throughout the year.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
In Him,
Johnny and Nina
