Is Jesus enough? That’s a question many Christians need to ask
themselves. They have abundant material possessions. But do these
believers depend on Jesus? Or on their stuff? . . .
How many Christians are like Paul who voluntarily gave up
everything for Christ -- Philippians 3:8?
How many Christians are like Job who, after losing everything
that men pursue and are not willing to let go, still worshiped
and praised God -- Job 1:20-22?
How many people are like the rich ruler, who was not willing
to give up his wealth in order to follow Christ -- Luke
18:18-30? I'm afraid most people are willing to follow Christ
as long as following Christ does not interfere with their
worldly ambitions and pursuits. Christ has become a nice
accessory in addition to many other good things in life....

How hard it is to live out a life in which just having Christ
is enough and Christ, "You Are my All in All"?
Luke 18:27 Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is
possible with God." NIV
By holding onto Christ every day through knowing,
understanding and living out HIS Word through praying in the
Spirit on all occasions (Eph 6:18), we can!
AMEN JOHNNY! it's so true that in today's age Christ is just a
"plus" to their lives...or the title
"Christian" is just added on just because. It seems
as if people place Christ in a separate area of their lives
(particularly Sunday mornings), and their "life" has
another box, one in which Christ has nothing to do with.

Kwan Tangfinds out that "Spiritually unexamined
experiences make people proud and bitter but spiritually examined
experiences make people humble and wise."
Clement, spiritually unexamined means without objective
evaluation/examination of one's experiences in order to
learn lessons from the experiences in order to do/be
better for God.
It's misconception that people get wiser as they
get older. Not necessarily! We should have observed old
people who are stubborn, bitter about life and not
willing to learn although they are not perfect yet. We
should also have observed young people who are humble,
teachable, wise and always trying to improve themselves
as an accountant/auditor/manager
/husband/father/son, etc.
Mau
Kwan Tangsaw an insightful statement while driving by a
Christian church -- "Give Satan an inch and he becomes your
ruler".
Mau
Kwan Tangsees much wisdom in "1CO 14:20 Brothers, stop
thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be
adults." and posts it as a reminder for himself and his friends. Sin less
as new-born babies till you are sinless by the power of the Holy Spirit. Think
wisely as wise adults whose minds are on eternally valuable things and they
don't waste their time on doing worthless things in God's eyes.
Mau
Kwan Tangis meditating on God's holy and living word which
gives wisdom when learned and applied with a teachable and humble heart
for "Knowledge is proud but wisdom is humble."
What a coincidence that we were thinking about the same
thing! I appreciate you as a brother in Christ who tries to
live out this principle by reflecting on your life and
always learning new things. You have the quality of a great
teacher who never stops learning.

I'm doing well. No
